Calling all literature lovers and cocktail enthusiasts! This one-of-a-kind Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy has arrived in Jacksonville, bringing four of Poe’s most infamous works off of the page and onto the stage through an immersive cocktail experience.

Specialty cocktails, such as “The Raventini” and “Cocktail of Red Death,” will complement each story.
While it has been over a century and a half since Edgar Allan Poe graced us with a work of detective fiction or gothic horror, his legacy lives on. Within the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, Poe historians will retell four of his most famous stories with a modern twist. The chilling tales feature The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, Masque of Red Death and The Black Cat.
The speakeasy has taken up residence at the Riverside House. Established in 1925 as a church, the historic building now serves as an event venue and was most recently renovated in 2023!
Guests will enjoy a 90-minute interactive show as they sip on four complimentary cocktails. Tickets start at $55 and are available to those ages 21 and up.
